WHY ME

Experience with Morrisville Town Steering Advisory Committee

Served as vice and chair for four years Morrisville SCS advisory committee. I have actively contributed to the development and execution of impactful projects.

Notably, I successfully implemented the City Shuttle service and the corresponding mobile application, enhancing transportation options and connectivity for the community.

Volunteering in Helene Storm Impacted Areas – Community Relief Leadership

During the challenging aftermath of the Helene storm in North Carolina, I led a critical relief initiative to support affected communities. In collaboration with organizations such as NICHAMA, Sewa International, Interfaith Org, HSNC, and local Indian American families, I helped coordinate emergency response efforts.

I organized and led service teams to provide essential supplies including clean water, food, medication, and winter clothing. I also worked directly on the ground in flood-impacted areas, assisting with rehabilitation efforts and ensuring timely aid reached those in need.

Engagement as a Community Volunteer

For four years, I have dedicated my time as a member of the HOA board, actively engaging with the community. Through collaborative efforts, I successfully mitigated school zoning concerns, prioritizing the well-being and educational needs of our residents.

Furthermore, I have been an advocate for advancing neighborhood environmental protections, safeguarding our surroundings for present and future generations.

In summary, my extensive experience with the Morrisville Smart City Committee, contributions to COVID-19 relief initiatives, community volunteerism, and focus on critical matters such as school zoning and environmental protections make me a strong candidate for driving positive change in Morrisville.

With your support, I am committed to utilizing my experience and passion to create a better future for our town and its residents.
